  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification course - April 9th 11 AM - 3 PM. This free certification training is for home care workers in Baltimore. This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

  • “Know Your Rights” Workshop on Wage Theft with Attorney David Rodwin from the Workplace Justice Project - April 21st from 6 - 8 PM. Wage theft can include failure to pay “off-the-clock” work, as well as failures to pay minimum wage, overtime, travel time between worksites, tip theft and more. Home care agencies often fail to pay us our full wages. Attorney David Rodwin is offering this free training for MD home care workers to help you ensure you’re getting paid every dollar you’re owed!
